Acupuncture

Acupuncture and herbs are an essential part of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a system of health care that has been practiced for over 3,000 years.  Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treats the whole individual.  An acupuncturist examines the root cause of pain and disease, therefore balancing and strengthening the body as a whole, in order to treat the visible signs and symptoms.  The combination of acupuncture, herbs, nutrition, life-style counseling, bodywork and exercise are used in the healing process to create balance in all areas of a person's health and well-being.

Benefits

How great would it be to feel calm, relaxed and know your health is in excellent shape?

That would be wonderful!  Traditional Chinese Medicine treats the body as a whole, looking at all areas that may be out of balance and creating stress.  Using a combination of acupuncture and Eastern nutrition your body will quickly align and you will feel strong and confident in your health and well-being.

Wouldn’t it be amazing to be pain free and able to enjoy your favorite extracurricular activities and hobbies?

Absolutely!  Acupuncture is a magnificent therapy for reducing inflammation and bringing more blood circulation to a specific area of the body.  In some cases where there is pain or numbness radiating down a limb additional therapies such as Tui Na (medical massage) or Electric Stim will be included to promote healing.

Wouldn’t it be great to have options that powerfully reduce stress and tension throughout your body?

I would love it! Cupping is another great technique that can be incorporated into your wellness treatment.  The suction created with the cups is designed to pull toxins to the surface and relieve muscle spasms.  It is a technique that works wonders in alleviating sore muscles and tension in the upper body.

I went to Nicole for chronic fatigue, or what I would call turning into a zombie after 12pm. Instead of immediately treating my symptoms with acupuncture, Nicole met with me and discussed every aspect of my health. She recommended that I make changes to my diet as well as acupuncture treatments. She gave me specific food choices and meal ideas. Each time I meet with her, she is very genuine, helpful, and professional. After

a few months of treatment, I can

happily say that I no longer turn into a zombie after lunch.  I highly recommend giving Nicole a visit!
